Courses and workshops are seminar-style, practical, hands-on, and conducted in small groups. They run from three to ten weeks, with readings and homework assigned. Participants benefit from mentorship, as well as feedback and support from fellow attendees.
Prior to taking any course, all participants must fill out and return a needs assessment form.
Artists and healers are sensitive, creative people who work from their passion, spirit, social purpose and sense of service. Often, it is for these very reasons the idea of contextualizing, or properly executing, what they do as "a business" presents personal conflict, overwhelm and self-limiting beliefs.
Yet, the creation of a practical marketing plan can help them to clarify their goals, connect with their preferred audience or clients, give them the tools to communicate what is unique about what they do, and educate their public on solutions that they have to their problems.
This specialized course takes creative, non-traditional approaches to business skills development, which takes into account the emotional blocks affecting the artist and healer as business owner and their business itself.
Limited to a small group of participants, this class encourages students to connect "awareness" to their choice of marketing techniques by combining journaling exercises, readings, group discussions and mentorship. Upon completion, participants will have developed a personalized year-long action plan, comprised of a promotional strategy, sales model, and fresh ideas, as well as a new network of like-minded and supportive peers.

Learn how to build a sponsorship, partnership and alliance strategy that will support both the financial, logistical and day-to-day needs of running your business, producing your events, or supporting your creative project. This workshop will teach you: how to package your business, project or event and approach potential supporters, how and when you should follow up, how to properly devise acknowledgement offerings that take into account cash, in-kind and volunteer donations, and how to nurture donor, fellow business, and community relationships to enable future support.
Whether it's your staff that is overextended, or perhaps yourself as a solo venture, volunteers are an undeniable resource for micro and small artist-led and healing arts ventures. It goes without saying that a solid volunteer program, both virtual and on-site, can make a huge difference in productivity, skill-sharing and community building. Learn how to create a manageable volunteer program and policy that sources, utilizes and acknowledges the skills and time of these donors in order to retain them.
